Classification of fabrics - what are Chemical fiber fabrics

Classification according to the source of raw materials: natural fiber fabrics, man-made fiber fabrics

Natural Fiber Fabrics: Fabrics made from fibers obtained directly from nature or artificially grown plants and animals. Common, such as cotton, hemp, wool, silk and so on.

Chemical fiber fabrics: natural or synthetic polymer compounds produced by chemical processing of fibers as raw materials woven fabrics. Familiar with regenerated cellulose fabrics, polyester, polyamide and polypropylene fabrics.

Regenerated cellulose fiber fabric's central performance:

Regenerated cellulose fiber fabrics have the advantages of limb softness, good hand feel, good luster, moisture absorption, good dyeing performance, etc.. However, the strength is relatively low in the wet state when the strength decreases, causing poor holding power.

Therefore, containing recycled fabrics after washing, the surface luster will be due to fiber "original fibers" lead to the loss of surface luster, so the general cleaning method of choice is "gentle machine wash" or "hand wash".

Classification of regenerated cellulose fiber fabrics:

① Domestic Tencel (China-made regenerated cellulose fiber) representative products: incredible small lotus

② Tencel (Lenzing production of regenerated cellulose fiber) on behalf of the product: silk pillowcase B fabrics

③Modal representative products: /

The top two, "Tencel M" and "TencelM", is the correct trademark; the side should be used in accordance with the complete combination to use.

"Tencel" is a trademark applied for by Lenzing. Only regenerated cellulose fibers produced by Lenzing can be called Tencel.

What we call Tencel in our daily lives are regenerated cellulose fibers.

Yarn Count/Density:

Yarn count refers to the thickness of the yarn and is usually denoted by the letter S in English. That is, one pound (454g) of cotton yarn in a few 840 yards (1 yard is 0.9144 meters) of yarn length for how many counts.

Example: one pound of cotton yarn, made into 33,600 yards of adventure, then the group of experience for 40S.

Density: that is, per inch (1 inch = 2.54CM) contains the number of yarn roots, which is divided into warp density and weft density.

Example: 128 * 70 density: 128 warp yarns/inch; 70 weft yarns/inch
