How to clean a silk quilt

Hand Wash

1. Check the label: First, be sure to read the washing label on the silk quilt. Some silk quilts may only be suitable for dry cleaning.
2. Preparation:
- Fill a large sink or bathtub with warm water (under 30°C).
- Add a small amount of neutral detergent, preferably one designed for silk.
3. Washing:
- Fully submerge the silk quilt in the water and gently stir the water to evenly distribute the detergent.
- Soak for 10-15 minutes and gently press the silk quilt to help remove dirt.
4. Rinse:
- Drain the dirty water and replace it with clean, warm water. Gently rinse the silk quilt until the water is clear and the detergent is completely washed out.
